Twice-weekly sailings to Alaska and statewide deliveries continue with no delays or disruptions
Thank you for your support as we navigate through these uncharted COVID-19 waters. Alaska continues opening up more non-essential businesses, including restaurants with limited capacity, retail stores, and personal services. Stay-at-home and intrastate travel restrictions have also eased.
Span Alaska’s priority is the safety of our workforce, our customers, and the vital cargo entrusted to us for successful delivery throughout Alaska. There have been no instances of COVID-19 with our employees. Our drivers are practicing enhanced hygiene techniques while on the road, and trained to maintain appropriate physical distance from others during pickups and deliveries.

WHEREAS, Alaska is committed to maintaining safe and healthy environments, access to services, and individual choice for older Alaskans.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Mike Dunleavy, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF ALASKA, do hereby proclaim May 2020 as:
Older Americans Month in Alaska, and encourage all Alaskans to take time to engage with older Alaskans, and to acknowledge their ongoing and valuable contributions to our communities.
