Please review Span’s upcoming holiday schedule and Matson’s holiday sailing schedule below:
Thanksgiving Week – Single Sailing ex Tacoma – Wednesday, November 22
Auburn Terminal: Closed Thursday and Friday, November 23 & 24.
Alaska Terminals: Closed Thursday and Friday, November 23 & 24.
Sailing Schedule: Matson will have a single sailing during the week of Thanksgiving. Matson Tacoma – MTC251N will sail on Wednesday, November 22, and will arrive in Anchorage Sunday, November 26, and Kodiak on Monday, November 27. There will be no sailing from Tacoma on Friday, November 24.
Week of December 18 – Kodiak Bypass
Auburn Terminal: Normal operations.
Alaska Terminals: Normal operations.
Sailing Schedule: Matson Anchorage – MAC255N will depart Tacoma on Wednesday, December 20 and will arrive in Anchorage on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24. Due to the Christmas Day holiday, Matson Anchorage – MAC255N will bypass Kodiak and return directly to Tacoma from Anchorage.
Matson Kodiak – MKD260N, the Friday, December 22 sailing from Tacoma, will maintain the regularly scheduled port calls.
Week of December 25 – Single Sailing ex Tacoma – Friday, December 29
Auburn Terminal: Closed Monday, December 25. With the single Friday sailing this week, Auburn will have non-sailing day receiving hours Tuesday thru Thursday with normal sailing day receiving hours on Friday, December 29.
Alaska Terminals: Closed Monday, December 25. Shipments on the Wednesday, December 20 sailing will be worked Tuesday morning, December 26 and shipments on the Friday, December 22 sailing will be worked Wednesday morning, December 27. We currently expect a 24-48 hour delivery delay for all shipments on both sailings arriving the week of December 25.
Sailing Schedule: There will be no sailing from Tacoma on Wednesday, December 27, resulting in no vessel call in Anchorage on Sunday, December 31, nor Kodiak on Monday, January 1.
Matson Tacoma – MTC254N will depart Tacoma on Friday, December 29, and maintain the regularly scheduled port calls.
Week of January 1 – Resumption of Regular Sailing Schedule
Auburn Terminal: Closed Monday, January 1.
Alaska Terminals: Closed Monday, January 1.
Sailing Schedule: Matson Kodiak – MKD261N will depart Tacoma Wednesday, January 3.
Matson Anchorage – MAC256N will depart Tacoma Friday, January 5.
Please know we will make necessary adjustments to ensure all shipments are delivered as timely as possible during the winter holiday weeks.
