Please review Span’s upcoming winter holiday hours of operations and Matson sailing schedule information below:
Christmas Week – Single Sailing ex Tacoma, Dutch Harbor bypass – Friday, December 27
Span Alaska Facilities: Closed Wednesday, December 25
Matson will have a single sailing during the week of Christmas. Voyage MAC289N will sail on Friday, December 27, and will arrive in Anchorage Tuesday, December 31, Kodiak on Friday, January 3, and will bypass Dutch Harbor. There will be no sailing from Tacoma on Wednesday, December 25. For shipments moving on the Friday, December 27, sailing, we anticipate deliveries to be delayed into the week after New Year’s due to holiday closures.
There will be no interstate service to Dutch Harbor the week of Christmas. Customers with interstate shipments to Dutch Harbor should target the Friday, December 20, sailing with an Auburn cutoff of 5PM on Thursday, December 19.
There will be no intrastate service to Dutch Harbor the week following Christmas. Customers with intrastate shipments to Dutch Harbor should target the Tuesday, December 24, sailing with an Anchorage cutoff of 3PM on Monday, December 23. Voyage MTC286S will be delayed departing Anchorage and call Kodiak on Friday, December 27, and Dutch Harbor on Saturday, December 28.
New Year’s Week – Single Sailing ex Tacoma – Friday, January 3
Span Alaska Facilities: Closed Wednesday, January 1
Matson will have a single sailing during the week of New Year’s. Voyage MKD295N will sail on Friday, January 3, and will resume Matson’s regular service schedule. There will be no sailing from Tacoma on Wednesday, January 1.
Please know we will make necessary adjustments to ensure all shipments are delivered as timely as possible during the upcoming holidays.
