Dear Valued Customer,
Matson will deploy reserve vessel RJ Pfeiffer into the Alaska rotation beginning this week to minimize service impacts while two vessels undergo back-to-back dry dockings for annual
maintenance. Schedule revisions are limited to the following:
Wednesday, October 2, Sailing MAC282N
MAC282N will depart Tacoma on Wednesday, October 2, will call on Anchorage on Sunday, October 6, and will bypass Kodiak and go directly to dry dock from Anchorage.
Due to the Kodiak bypass, northbound Kodiak freight will be held in Auburn, WA and booked on the Friday, October 4, sailing MKD287N, resulting in a 48-hour delay for Kodiak shipments that
would typically move on the Wednesday sailing.
Intrastate Anchorage to Kodiak freight available the week of September 30 will be held in Anchorage and booked on MKD287S departing Anchorage on Wednesday, October 9, resulting in a 48-hour delay.
There are currently no anticipated changes to Dutch Harbor service.
