Please be advised that a major winter storm system in the Gulf of Alaska will impact both our southbound and northbound vessels over the next few weeks. Please note the following important scheduling updates:
Voyage: MKD225S – Kodiak Bypass
Due to severe weather preventing entry into the Port of Kodiak, MKD225S departed Anchorage on the 19th bypassing Kodiak for a return directly to Tacoma. Cargo destined for Kodiak was discharged in Anchorage and relayed to MTC219N departing Anchorage today, December 21 for arrival in Kodiak on Friday, December 23.
MAC221N – Reinstated Kodiak Call
MAC221N will depart Tacoma on Thursday afternoon, December 22, will call Anchorage Monday, December 26, and Kodiak on Wednesday, December 28. Deliveries in Alaska may be delayed up to 24 hours.
MKD226N – Kodiak Bypass
MKD226N departing Tacoma Friday, December 23, will call Anchorage Tuesday, December 27, will bypass Kodiak, and then call on Dutch Harbor Friday, December 30. All Kodiak freight from Tacoma will not depart Tacoma until the following week.
