Anchorage sits at the center of Alaska’s economy—and so does Span Alaska’s modern, high-capacity Service Center. Centrally located in the Southcentral region, this facility keeps products moving across Alaska with consistency that businesses can count on.
With 86 dock doors, 55,000 square feet of space, and 16.5 acres of property, this is the largest Span Alaska Service Center in the state. The fully fenced, secure site reflects our commitment to safety, reliability, and long-term investment in Alaska’s future.
From Anchorage, our team supports steady product flow for retailers, suppliers, and industries statewide. This includes dependable northbound and southbound shipments, temperature-controlled replenishment, and specialized handling for oversized shipments. We also manage regular movement between Anchorage and Kodiak, with Monday departures that deliver on Tuesday for shipments received by the Friday 3:00 p.m. cutoff.
Our Anchorage team also supports the Fresh Express Chill, Freeze, and KFF partnership with Costco Business Center, providing a streamlined option for temperature-sensitive products. Orders placed online by Thursday at 3:00 p.m. depart Monday and deliver Tuesday, with competitive pallet pricing available for businesses that rely on consistent restocking.
