Matson has announced that the final sailings for the 2026 Keep From Freezing (KFF) season will be the southbound sailing departing Anchorage on Tuesday, April 21 (MTC330S), and the northbound sailing departing Tacoma on Wednesday, April 22 (MKD338N).

Effective April 5, 2026, the fuel surcharge (FSC) for shipments to and from Central Alaska will change to 26.5%. On the same day, the fuel surcharge for shipments to and from Southeast Alaska will change to 18.5%.

Effective April 12, 2026, the fuel surcharge (FSC) for shipments to and from Central Alaska will change to 26.5%. This adjustment follows Matson Navigation’s announced FSC update, and Span Alaska will implement the same increase on that date.
