4th of July Holiday Notice – UPDATE [Posted – 06.25.2025]

MTC304N will call on Anchorage on Tuesday, July 8, and not on Monday, July 7, as previously noted. This change is now updated in the schedule.

Fuel Surcharge Change Notice [Posted – 06.20.2025]

Alaska Marine Lines has announced that the FSC will change from 9.5% to 12.0% for shipments to and from Southeast Alaska points.

4th of July Holiday Notice [Posted – 06.18.2025]

All Span Alaska and Midnight Sun service centers will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Memorial Day Holiday Notice [Posted – 04.29.2025]

Span Alaska will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, at all terminals to observe Memorial Day.

Suspension of Keep From Freezing Service [Posted – 04.07.2025]

Matson has announced that the final sailings for the 2025 Keep From Freezing (KFF) season will be the northbound sailing departing Tacoma on Friday, April 11 (MTC296N), and the southbound sailing departing Anchorage on Tuesday, April 15 (MTC296S).

Customer Advisory – Alaska Volcano Update [Posted – 04.04.2025]

As you are likely aware, Mount Spurr, a volcano located 80 miles west of Anchorage, is experiencing increased seismic activity. The Alaska Volcanic Observatory (AVO) recently stated that a volcanic eruption there was “likely, but not certain, to occur within the next few weeks or months.”
